One Episode A Week, And Two Possible Finales
MGM+'s trailer announcement, carried by BroadwayWorld, sets November 8, and our TVmaze data matches. Season 1 opened with two episodes. Both TVmaze and Wikipedia show Season 2 opening with one, then one each Sunday. The hour is not posted yet in anything we opened.
The two listings agree through Episode 7 on December 20, then split. Wikipedia puts the finale, "The Other Side," on the same night. TVmaze has it alone on December 27. MGM+ hasn't settled it in what we opened, so keep both dates open and we will update this page when it does.
Season 1 Fits In A Weekend
TVmaze lists every episode at 60 minutes, which is where our 8 hours comes from. Wikipedia lists 54 to 59, so by our math the real total falls between 7 hours 12 minutes and 7 hours 52 minutes. Either way, it's four nights at two hours or one committed weekend.
You've also got slack. Episode 2 doesn't arrive until November 15, so you're only one episode behind until then. If you saw Season 1 in 2025, it'll be 441 days since the finale. "Back Half" and "Hide" tie for the top at 8.4 and "Fight" closes at 8.2, so those are the ones to rewatch.

Stephen King Readers Lose Their Map
Gizmodo points out that Season 1 followed the novel pretty closely from start to finish, and says we don't really know what to expect now. Our read is that having read the book won't tell you where this goes. Don't treat it as a substitute for Season 1 either, since Gizmodo notes the show aged up the kids from the book.
The One New Name To Know
Alfie Allen joins as Nolan Reeves, a tech billionaire the Director brings in to rebuild, per the synopsis Dread Central ran. Gizmodo says he's all over the trailer. SciFiNow has Ben Barnes, Mary-Louise Parker, Joe Freeman, Simone Miller, Fionn Laird, Robert Joy, Arlen So, Jeff Fahey and Hannah Galway all coming back.

When Does Season 2 End?
It depends on the listing. Wikipedia has Episodes 7 and 8 both on December 20, and TVmaze has the finale on December 27. We will update this when MGM+ settles it.
Can I Start With Season 2?
You'd be lost. SciFiNow says Season 2 picks up in the immediate aftermath of the Season 1 climax, so watch Season 1 first.
Can I Watch It Outside MGM+?
In the US, the MGM+ renewal announcement says the show premieres exclusively on MGM+, and it names the UK and several other countries too. Amazon MGM Studios Distribution handles the remaining territories.
